In Focus- A Studymates Series
Who else wants to be able to tackle all of the mathematical problems in Chemistry?
To be successful in chemistry, you need to calculate from theoretical situations and from practical experiments. Using the Studymates building block method, whereby topics are tackled in bite-sized chunks, this book explains the mole concept and Stoichiometry gases: pressure, volume and temperature relationships enthalpy changes equilibrium rates of reactions, oxidation
‘This book is blissful, beautifully written, well constructed and ideal for students’;

Purchased for my son to help understand the range of concepts, chemical equations & formulae building towards A-level Chemistry. An easy to use step by step guide with clear worked through examples which leaves the reader with a clear understanding of relevant terminology, associated notations and how to build up and solve calculations arising in Chemistry. Topics include The Mole concept, Gases: Pressure, Volume & temperature, Enthalphy changes, Rates of reactions…..Worth the purchase for the demystification of Chemistry calculations.
I bought this book for my daughter who is studying Chemistry at Loughborough. It’s her first year and she was really impressed with it. I bought it for Christmas along with some other massive text books and she liked it just as much as the weighty tomes!
Very good book, Good explanations and examples plus lots of calculations for you to complete. A good learning or revision tool.
